Haiti Earthquake Response

In the aftermath of the devastating 2010 Haiti earthquake, served as the logistics coordination link between PAHO/WHO's Procurement and Emergency Response Units. Orchestrated the flow of critical medical supplies and relief materials, managed international cold chain logistics for perishable shipments, and ensured all operations met strict compliance and contractual standards under extreme time pressure.

Deployed as a Field Logistics Specialist for PAHO/WHO when Super Typhoon Haiyan devastated the Philippines. Operating from Cebu — the critical logistics distribution hub — and conducting response operations and damage assessments in hard-hit Ormoc City, managed the flow of disaster relief supplies and coordinated with international partners to deliver life-saving assistance.

Deployed as WHO's field logistician when Mozambique faced two major cyclones within weeks. Conducted damage and needs assessments for the health sector, coordinated the receipt, storage, and distribution of emergency medical supplies, and provided critical logistics support for two Cholera vaccination campaigns including cold chain management. Worked alongside UNICEF, WFP, MSF, OCHA, and USAID.

Led PAHO/WHO's health emergency logistics response to every major Caribbean hurricane from 2015 to 2019 — including Tropical Storm Erika, Hurricane Joaquin, Hurricane Matthew, the devastating Hurricanes Irma and Maria, and Hurricane Dorian. Coordinated with international military forces, UN agencies, DFID, WFP, UNICEF, UK Royal Air Force, CDEMA, and dozens of partners across multiple island nations.
